The Early Years of Budushi Tara Mataji 

Tara Ghimire was born into a deeply religious family in a small village in Nepal. Her father, Late Krishna Prasad Ghimire, and mother, Shree Indra Maya Ghimire, instilled in her a love for spirituality from an early age. Tara showed an interest in the teachings of the Bhagwat Gita and the Bhagwat Purana, spending hours listening to her father recite these sacred texts. As she grew older, Tara attended local religious gatherings to deepen her understanding. Her devotion and eagerness to learn caught the attention of local spiritual leaders, who recognized her potential and began teaching her about the Vedic traditions.

The Path to Spiritual Enlightenment

Tara Ghimire's thirst for knowledge led her to travel to various holy places in India at the age of 13. During her travels, she faced discrimination as a woman trying to perform holy offerings and learn. However, she did not give up and fought back with great zeal. Despite not having much money, she walked 15km every day from her small temporary thatched room in Varanasi, India to the institute in order to learn Sanskrit. Her learning journey was painful and emotional. She received guidance from several revered saints and gained insights into the teachings of the Bhagwat Purana. Her spiritual journey eventually led her to become a melodious Sankirtanist, performing Bhagwat Katha in various parts of Nepal and India. Her performances were captivating, and people from all over the world came to listen to her recitation of Bhagwat Katha. Her Bhagwat Mahapuran Katha performances gained her immense popularity, and she became the first woman in Nepal to perform it. She was awarded by the King and listed as one of the 100 most influential women in Nepal. 

The Legacy of Bidushi Tara Mata ji 

Bidushi Tara Mata ji has left an indelible mark on the spiritual and charitable landscape of Nepal through her inspiring contributions over the years. Her numerous accolades include being recognized as the First Nepali Women Interpreter of Shreemad Bhagwat Gita in Nepal. Tara Ghimire is renowned for her unique ability to simplify complex spiritual concepts, making them easily understandable for audiences of all levels of knowledge. In addition to her spiritual activities, Tara Ghimire has been actively involved in a range of charitable organizations. One of her most notable contributions is the establishment of an orphanage that provides a nurturing and spiritual environment for orphans, while also imparting quality education. Through her tireless efforts, she has also played a pivotal role in the construction of schools and hospitals in remote villages, which has greatly improved access to education and medical facilities for the local communities. Bidushi Tara Mata ji's life is a testament to her unwavering dedication to spreading spiritual knowledge and her unwavering commitment to improving society. Her remarkable journey continues to inspire and motivate countless people to this day. She has set an exceptional example of how one person's dedication and hard work can have a positive and lasting impact on the world around them.

The Birth of Shree Prannath Sewa Aashram Devghat 
( Krishna Pranami Mandir Devghat)

As Tara Ghimire's reputation grew, she felt a strong sense of responsibility to share her knowledge with a wider audience. In 1994, she founded the Shree Prannath Sewa Aashram Devghat, also known as Pranami Mandir Devghat, in Nepal. Devghat is considered one of the holiest places in Asia, and the Ashram became a hub for spiritual seekers, offering a platform for Mataji to spread her teachings. The Ashram became famous for its unique approach to spirituality, which emphasized the power of positive thinking and the importance of serving others. Tara Ghimire's teachings attracted people from all walks of life, and the Ashram soon became a center for spiritual and social activities. There are currently around 20 orphans being nurtured in the Ashram, which also serves as an old age home for many mothers and fathers. The construction of the Mandir in Devghat has been a difficult journey that has taken 25 years. Tara Ghimire and her sister Jamuna Ghimire traveled to different parts of the country to perform religious programs and collect pennies to fund the project. The temple's construction has been a labor of love, with each component built using pennies collected over decades, reflecting the immense sacrifices and dedication of the people involved. Many humble donors contributed their hard-earned money to the construction of the Mandir, and their generosity and selflessness are recorded in the temple register. Despite the challenges, the dedication and commitment of the people involved, along with the donors' generosity, have made it possible for the temple's completion to be 80% by February 2023. The memory of the struggles and hardships will serve as a testament to their devotion, and as they celebrate this achievement, they can look forward to the future with hope and joy. The inauguration of Devghat Mandir is set in the year of Q4 2023, and devotees from all over the world from Hindu Samaj and Krishna Pranami religious saint will be present at the inauguration ceremony of Shree Krishna Pranami Mandir, Devghat.
